American History II - Notebook checks will be held on Friday. The portions checked will be "March of the Progressives" and "America Becomes a World Power" Vocabulary for World War One is due Monday. Quiz will be on Thursday. Europe in 1914 will be given out Friday. That map will be due Monday the 29th

Week of 10/14/12

American History II - Test Wednesday so study. After the test you will get the next list of vocabulary which will be due Monday. Also after the test will be the next group of Presidents (Polk - Buchanan) and that quiz will be two weeks from Wednesday. Read ch6 on World War One.

U.S. Govt. make sure you have read the chapters (3 and 4) review the Amendments and begin to study for the Test

Week of 10/08/12

American Cultures II On Tuesday a worksheet will be handed out that will be worked on in class and due Thursday. On Wednesday, political cartoon with TR will be handed out and will be due Thursday. Both can be found on my wikisite that is in linked here on the homework helpline. Make sure that you read chapter 5 and begin to study for a test early next week. U.S. Government Vocab quiz that was originally scheduled for this past Friday is rescheduled for Wednesday.

Week of 10/1/12

American Cultures - Presidents quiz one will be Wednesday (Washington - Tyler). You must know, their name, what number they were, their term, and political party. If you have any questions or need a new copy of the first ten presidents, go to my wiki site and download the powerpoint with them on. Due Thursday - Big Stick Diplomacy Political cartoon. Make sure you read ch 5 U.S. Govt. Vocab quiz Friday on ch 3 & 4. Homework - Ch 3 pg 75 Questions: 2, 4a, 5,6. Add to question 6 this question "What issues might arise if both the legislature and the executive branches were controlled by the same party? Which would you prefer and why? Page 83 Questions 2, 3, 4, 5. Both pages due Thursday. Make sure you read both chapters.
