Week of 11/28/11

U.S. Gov. Class make sure you've read ch 5 & 6 to aid in learning on parties and voting. Vocab ch 6 is being assigned Tuesday and due Thursday. Vocab quiz Friday 15 questions. There will be a test coming up soon, be prepared.

Am Cultures II - Quiz on vocab Friday as well. Political cartoon 1 (guy out of work sitting on a park bench talking to a Squirrel) will be handed out on Wednesday and due Friday. Political cartoon 2 will be handed out most likely Friday and due Monday of next week. There is a test coming soon because this is a short section (Hoover's Administration) Start studying now and read chapter 8 the first section or two (Great Depression in regards to Hoover).

American Cultures II - review Monday, Test Tuesday, bring your text books Wednesday and Thursday. Also your Vocab will be due Friday. You'll be getting your next set of Presidents after the test so that means quiz 4 will be two weeks from Tuesday. Alfred Smith sheet is due Thursday. Your Commercials with 20s slang are due Monday. Those that need to shoot will be doing so Wednesday and Thursday. Finally your Big Project topic is due by Wednesday before going home for Thanksgiving.

American Cultures II - Political Cartoon on the 1st Red Scare is due Monday. Your third presidents quiz will be Wednesday (remember while there are twenty total presidents, only 16 - 20 plus 5 of my choice will be on the quiz and the bonus will be a president that hasn't been used on the quiz)You should also be reading Ch 7 as a supplement to the notes. Finally your script for your 20s commercial is due Friday. All grades handed in as of Halloween will be counted on the 2nd 9 weeks.

U.S. Govt. due to scheduling issues your test will be this Wednesday, making the vocab on political parties due Friday and a quiz Wednesday of next week. Your planks are also due Thursday. These planks will be typed out and handed in as a group grade.

American History II - Test Wednesday on WW 1. Your reading sheet is due Monday. Also on Monday you will be getting a political Cartoon that is due Tuesday. Finally your Presidents quiz number 2 (1-15) is going to be Thursday, UNLESS for some reason the chapter test is pushed to Thursday, then the President's quiz will be moved to Friday.

U.S. Govt. - vocab quiz is on Tuesday. Federalist Paper number 49 is due Monday, number 50 is due Tuesday, number 8 is due Thursday. You should have read both chapter three and four by now, if you haven't do so especially since the test will be coming up soon.

I want 47 read with notes and any questions for Wednesday, 48 read, notes, and any questions for Thursday. I also expect a to be reviewing Friday so you will be having a test early next week.

Week of 9/25/11

U.S. Govt. Class - you are testing Friday on both Ch 1 and Ch 2. You should be preparing now.

Am. Cultures II - Wednesday you have your first Presidents quiz on Presidents 1 to 10. Also we will be wrapping up AMERICA GAINS AN EMPIRE so we will be either testing Friday or Monday of next week. This means that you should review your vocabulary because it's a major portion of your test. Review ch 5 because it can help. Also you will be getting a review worksheet on Tuesday which will be due Thursday, also two political cartoons will be handed out, one of which will be on your test. Finally, the bulk of your test comes from the notebook so study, starting now.

American Cultures II - Remember to read Ch 4 The Progressive Era, it can help you on the test. On Tuesday, you will be getting two work sheets. One will be the first political cartoon of the year, due Wednesday. The second sheet is a worksheet that goes over the Progressive Era. - It is due Thursday. Probable test at the very earliest is Friday.

U.S. Govt. You should have read ch1 on the origins of the Stste, now you will be reading ch 2 on the British contributions to the Constitution and our early governing experiences. Tuesday, questions will be assigned from both chapters and you are looking at a test early next week.

All American Cultures II classes - This Thursday is the due date for the big project. I will not accept projects. They are worth 300 points and are the 1st grade of the 4th nine weeks. As for a test, the Cold War Begins Test is at the moment scheduled for Wednesday April 6th, 2011. It may come a little earlier or a little later, but start preparing now.
