Week of 10/1/12

American Cultures - Presidents quiz one will be Wednesday (Washington - Tyler). You must know, their name, what number they were, their term, and political party. If you have any questions or need a new copy of the first ten presidents, go to my wiki site and download the powerpoint with them on. Due Thursday - Big Stick Diplomacy Political cartoon. Make sure you read ch 5 U.S. Govt. Vocab quiz Friday on ch 3 & 4. Homework - Ch 3 pg 75 Questions: 2, 4a, 5,6. Add to question 6 this question "What issues might arise if both the legislature and the executive branches were controlled by the same party? Which would you prefer and why? Page 83 Questions 2, 3, 4, 5. Both pages due Thursday. Make sure you read both chapters.

Week of 9/24/12

Am. Cultures II - Vocab is due Monday. Vocab Quiz will occur this week, be prepared. Make sure you have read ch 5 all sections. Also your first president's quiz will be on the first 10 presidents on a week from Wednesday. U.S. Govt. - Vocab is due Tuesday. You will have a Federalist paper reading due Thursday and Friday. Also work chapters 3 questions due Wednesday.

Happy Constitution Day American Cultures II - Test is Wednesday, so prep. The vocabulary will be due the following Monday (24th) and read ch 5. U.S. Govt. test Friday on chapters 1 & 2. You will be reading Federalist Paper number 12 and it will be due the next day, completely analyzed.

American Cultures II - you should have read ch 4 on the Progressive era already. If not, do so for you will be testing on the chapter by Wednesday of next week. Also be aware that there will be a pop quiz this week on the vocab. U.S. Govt. - quiz Wed on the Vocab on ch 1 & 2. Make sure you've read the chapters.

Hello and welcome back American Cultures II - Talking to the text "Sherman Anti-trust Act" and TR political cartoon will be due Friday. Make sure you read chapter 4, and begin to study for a test probably Tuesday of next week. U.S. Govt. - Vocab that you will be given time to work on in class will be due Friday. Make sure you've read ch 1 & 2 and begin to study for a test Wed of next week.
